Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year

Everything Balvenie makes is good. This is good, but not as good as I had hoped for the price point. Nice introduction of the wood wo being too much. It's also a little thin with mouthfeel. Still at nice selection. I was maybe just expecting more.

Very sweet with a vanilla taste. Really nice bourbon/scotch hybrid

Egg nog, in whiskey form. The nose and palate are thick with sweet vanilla, raw honey, butterscotch, nutmeg, a hint of coconut and a light spice that says “Hey, is it Christmas?”. Awesome. Club taste (HA) - 11/25/20
