Reviewed October 26, 2021Nose: Sweet oak, and dried fruits - apples, golden raisins. Sweet creamy vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of "light" brown sugar. Reminds me of crème brulee and ginger bread. The aroma is very balanced and inviting on the nose for sure. Palate: Sweet creamy vanilla with sweet rich oak with a hint of pepper spice. Dried, deep/dark fruits, with carmelized sugars and spices. Long, well balanced, finish that leaves you with sweet dried fruits, baking spices, rich oak spice and maybe a hint of sweet tabacco. Final Thoughts: This is an amazing pour. Tasted against Batch 4, and batch 7. It wins hands down. -

Reviewed January 28, 2021From a sample bottle. Trying it with a Wee GC. Rested 30 mins N(4.25): light aromas. Malt, caramel, and spices. Ginger. Citrus. A lot of flavors, but you need to do some hunting. P(4):Sweet honey. Bright fresh. F(4.25): Medium finish but complex. Malt. White pepper spice. Vanilla. Leather. Cumin. Anis. Tiny bit of black licorice. At the price, I'm yearning for something bolder, thicker, and oilier. The flavors are delightful and complex. -
