Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 5

A great showing of what Balvenie can do but too pricy imo.

Honey through and through. I could pick this out as a Balvenie at a blind tasting. Reminds me a lot of their double wood 12 without the young bite. Candied orange. The ending is long & subtle.

Very well balanced, perfectly mix of everything and very easy to drink

Taste so similar to the Macallan Rare Cask line.
