The Burning Chair Bourbon

Barrel select with wine finish of 17.5 grenache, 17.5 zinfandel , 65% cabernet sauvignon. Almond, sweet corn, not much pepper which you would expect with the cab dominance

Very nicely done for a younger bourbon. Pairs nicely with chocolate. A bit fruity. Harsh finish but to be expected from a younger bourbon.

Kind of musty. After reading more about this I can pick out some of the wine notes. It’s pretty hot for a low proof. The beginning taste and finish is good. Middle is sort of musty
