Glenlivet 12 Year Illicit Still

Surprisingly good. I am pleased.

Candy/toffee, dried apple on nose, apple crumble, honey light spice, very sweet, medium long finish.

In general I’m not a fan of Glenlivet but was hoping a higher proof would help. It’s an ok dram but probably won’t buy it again.

Really really good price, but not the flavor that I like. I thought it can be more floral and fruity at a higher proof but disappointed with this aspect. It's just a higher proof the glenlivet 12. If you love the original 12, you gonna love this. Add some water, this whiskey will keep changing in the next 40 min. I don't regret the purchase but probably won't buy again.
