Glenlivet 12 Year Illicit Still

Neck pour is very impressive. Melon, honey, vanilla and light nutty notes, semi-sweet, velvety and rich on the palate, with subdued melon, peaches, vanilla and honey, the ABV feels spot on, medium length finish carries warm honey, stone fruit notes and a little heat.

Heavy vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, and extra sweet tobacco leaves. Nice finish with the bitterness of dark chocolate and espresso. Throw in a pinch of spice and you’ve got a solid showing from the ever-consistent Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Fun House & Water Park™️.

Nose: Vanilla Palate: smooth, light oak, light citrus, bit of burn, kinda reminiscent of dalmore

Nose: lots of vanilla Palate: smooth sweet, vanilla. Not too complex but very good.
