Glenlivet 15 Year French Oak Reserve

Very sweet cereal on the nose, vanilla and cream with light citrusy fruit. The palette is again, sweet. It is followed by a spicy apple kick with cinnamon. Very light on the feel, it has a medium finish.

The nose is definitely all cinnamon and caramel, and the taste is smooth, fruity and pleasant. The finish is dry, with no bitterness. This was the first Scotch I ever tasted, and as a result, is always on hand as my go to. Expand my horizons? Yeah probably should, but not today.
