Glenlivet 18 Year

On the nose it seemed okay and floral and that’s what I got on the taste. Oak, floral, sweet, and possibly a little apple.

A toasted sweet green apple that has the nutty and vanilla notes that are synonymous with Glenlivet but with the added maturity of being able to vote. Nose and palate: sweet toasted green apples. With a biscuity warm body. Finish: nice and Christmas desert feeling.

Nose: 4,5* Amazing floral bouquet, everything covered in sweet honey. Mellow, extremely inviting, only lacking some complexity but otherwise nearly perfect. Palate: 3,75* As mouth-watering as the nose is, it works in it’s disadvantage as the palate fades down when mixed with saliva for too long.. Shame this isn’t 43% ABV anymore! Finish: 4* Drying, walnut-like woodiness turns into creamy vanilla and honey notes and finally linger down to something more bitter and dry.
