Tasting Notes
"This perplexing whisky opens with a nose of prunes, stewed berries, and almost zero alcohol. A few drops of water is a necessity and will reveal some of the oloroso nuttiness, a slight brininess, and some bitter tannins, along with a fair amount of heat. The finish is long, dry, and has a faint note of Kirsch. Since there is likely a blend of young and old whiskies here, this feels a little disjointed overall, but worth a try for a Glenlivet enthusiast. "
