The Glenrothes 10 Year

For an 80 proof this has a surprisingly beautiful creaminess. With peach and honey in the forefront it also delivers a slight spiciness and lemon like subtle citrus not that is quite beautiful. Not too complex but a big step up compared to other speysides on the same price range. Can’t wait to compare it with the 12 year bottle.

Little light but nice sherry on the nose and palate. Slight spice and vanilla/ fruit.

Disappointing, weak flavour

Vanilla shortbread and Lemon peel. Says it right there on the label. Vanilla florals on the nose. Sweet and creamy on the palate. Thin on the finish but a good everyday sipper from the Rothes & Co.
