The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey

Rye is not for everyone and not normally my thing so I proceed with caution. On the nose there’s a distinct rye note, with spice and ginger. Reminds me oddly of my favourite spiced rum mixed with ginger...weird. On tasting, a huge wave of rye bread with a following, green earth, spice and caramel. Amazingly smooth to drink, the taste lingers and very warm.
