The Irishman 12 Year Single Malt is produced by Walsh Whiskey, the company founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh. Part of the brand’s core portfolio, the whiskey was first released in 2012 and is triple distilled from a mash of 100% Irish malted barley.
It is matured for a minimum of 12 years exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The annual release is typically limited to around 6,000 bottles and is bottled at 43% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma of the whiskey is on the richer side with dark honeycomb, black pepper, cedar and other wood aromas. The palate continues on the dark side with dark chocolate, dark honey, black tea and a small dose of char smoke. It finishes with a long lasting, warming aftertaste to the dram."
