The Irishman Cask Strength is a combination of triple distilled pure pot still and single malt whiskies. Aged in ex-bourbon casks, the proof will vary from year to year. The 2013 release is 108 proof and only 2160 bottles were produced in this year's batch.

Tasting Notes

"Often times if the proof on a whiskey is higher than the standard 80, the aroma is a bit muted, but that isn't the case here. Full of honey, apple skins, and wood spices these smells entice you to dive right in. There is a nice fullness to the whiskey and it slides right down. No need to add water. "
