Tasting Notes
"Almonds and gentle baking spices are discovered with the body slightly smoother and fuller than their main bottling, the American Single Malt. Sweet notes are provided by way of dark toffee and chocolate. The roasted malt is present, but is somehow tamed down with the dried fruit from the sherry influence. There is a tang and nice acidity to the whisky so it seems full of life and not as heavy as some sherry finished whiskies can be. "
