Tasting Notes
"The aroma is of moderate intensity showcasing berry compote, toasted barley and a bit of orange peel along with some musty oak. The palate shows a medium body and a spicy bite. For those not wanting a particularly sweet and fruity whiskey, this one will do nicely. The tawny port finish doesn't overpower the malt whiskey. The finish is dry with a hint of smoke from the barrels. Finish is a bit hot for its 92 proof. Mellow it out with a splash of cool water or a large ice cube. "
