Macallan Double Cask 15 Year

The nose is very full with a classic Macallan smell. The European oak shines through from start to finish. In the mouth the deep fruit flavors are up front and then layered with honey, vanilla and nuttiness. The theme continues with a subtle cinnamon and ground pepper finish. This dram is quite enjoyable. Plus, for a Macallan, the price is not out of reach for most whiskey lovers.
