For me- it has one of the nicest noses i’v experience in scotch; it’s not funky - and by funky I mean like the slightest smell of rotting organic matter around my garbage disposal- to me many scotches have this slight tinge. It’s very tasty, not malty- a little bit spicier on the back end than the 12 year.
