The Singleton of Dufftown 17 Year is one of eight single malt Scotch whiskies in Diageo's 2020 Special Release Collection. Crafted by master blender Dr. Craig Wilson, the theme for this year's collection is "Rare by Nature." The Singleton of Dufftown 17 Year is matured exclusively in refill American oak hogsheads.
It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.1% ABV. Availability is limited in quantities in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, South Africa, select Asian markets and airport duty free in late fall 2020. .

Tasting Notes
"Hints of lime and underripe banana peel, this is rather spirit-forward and gentle. Fruity though, with a good amount of kiwi and green grapes, even some apple sauce. Finally a whiff of lavender. A sweet and creamy palate with some lovely grassy elements, as well as nice orchard fruits and honey. Ending on soft oak spices, herbal notes and a touch of cloves. Maybe this isn't the sexiest of the 2020 Special Releases, but The Singleton of Dufftown 17 Year Old is simply good, proper malt whisky. "
