Togouchi 12 Year

An intense, 12-year-old Japanese blended whisky, produced by Chugoku Jozo for the Togouchi range, who age their whiskies in a tunnel. It has a birth with notes of Meyer lemon, green apple, & a hint of smoke; while a balanced life adds notes of apple & pears, with citrus zest, oak & all spice; that led to gentle death adds an earthy note with more citrus tang & a whiff of vanilla. Leathery but rather flat … yet easy drinker

What difference does 12 years make? None in this case. No big differences from the young version. A bit more herbaceous.
