Nose- mild, sweet, slightly oaky
Palate- very mild and subtle, starts with vanilla and mild oak and slides into herbal and licorice notes.
Finish- aftertaste lingers and is heavy licorice and herbal.
Overall- a mild everyday drinker. The flavors are not what I typically look for in a bourbon. It’s aftertaste lingers to the range of Malort. But it might work in the right mixer.
The nose is subtle, but hints at grassy notes with a bit of overripe fruit. The palette is oily and spicy with a hint of banana. The finish is oaky and less spicy than the palette, with just a bit of a floral note.
Nose is grainy bread. Starts with a sweet slightly carmel note with just a little bite. Smoke is very subtle with mid pallate being smooth sweetly complex with flavors of vanilla and carmel finishing with just the right amount of bite and heat. This is a good sipping wiskey and kind of reminds me of buffalo trace with a bit lighter note.
