Traveller Whiskey

I let this bottle set open for a week w/ a good half taken to see what kind of nose might develop, unfortunately not much there. Malt forward is about it, of course for Buffalo Trace that in itself is something unusual, it's a nice, almost refined malt, but not complex. The unusually low msrp(for a BT product) is warranted. For the scotch drinkers this might be a nicer pickup but for the average bourbonir you probably shouldnt get too excited about this. This isn't some Stagg/Eagle Rare takeoff. The bit of sweet dark chocolate from the malt is about all you get. Nothing special, nothing to write home about, enjoy it for what it is.

Great easy drinker, perfect for the beginner

Not as smooth as Tennessee whisky but she’s sure is worth the price tag. A great whisky and I’m normally not a fan or celebrity liquor, but the Buffalo Trace Distillery and Chris Stapleton did roght by this one.

Much in line with the expert review. I did pick up a few different notes. Enjoyed on the rocks (very small ice cubes) with an ice cold glass from the freezer right after downhill skiing. Great way to relax after a day of skiing.
