This expression has joined the brand's lineup produced at La Perseverancia Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. It is made from 100% blue weber agave that is triple-distilled, then rested in American white oak barrels for at least 12 months.
It is then, according to the distillery, “rock filtered to gently extract color”. It is bottled at 40% ABV and available as of February, 2022.

Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".

Tasting Notes
"The nose is moderate in intensity with green herbal (oregano and epazote) and vegetal notes, maybe some cooked vegetables like sweet peppers. Along with these notes, there's a touch of vanilla. The palate has a moderate fullness to it along with a softness initially, but the finish has a gentle peppery bite. Throughout, however is a ripe agave note on the mild side. Pleasant bittersweet finish. Would sip neat or have it served on the rocks to drink along with grilled chicken or fish as its savory notes would work nicely here. "
