Tullibardine 15 Year

1st taste: its mild, nice nose, sort of fruity papate, light with a decent finish

Perfect for those that like scotch and bourbon but can’t quite decide what they want. Incredibly smooth, almost too smooth, I wish it took a little bit more of a stand. But it’s such an easy all evening sipper. Also, can’t overlook the 15 year age for $75.

Poured neat in a glencairn and rested 15 minutes. Aroma is honey, malt, and peach candy. Flavor is sweet up front, with notes of root beer candy, grain husk, and allspice. Finish is long and clean with a bit of numbing Sichuan peppercorn.

The presentation is beautiful. There is no mention of filtration or coloring. The nose is apples & cinnamon. The initial taste is light very friendly. Short finish. The mid palate is pleasant Carmel baked apple, light cinnamon. Quality casks. Shared this w/ 3 friends & everyone enjoyed it. No peat it’s not challenging. I would say it’s a great dram for a new scotch drinker or bourbon fan.
