Uncle Nearest 1856 Tennessee Whiskey (Sourced Whiskey)

Nose: That typical sweet TN whiskey smell. Lots of vanilla, oak, and caramel. Hints of banana can also be found as it opens up a bit Initial: A bit of cinnamon spice slap your taste buds awake. That vanilla comes in to calm things down a bit though going into the mid-palate. Mid-Palate: The vanilla strengthens a bit with a more salted caramel creeping in. I also get hints of a mixed fruit pie of sorts with a graham cracker crust. Finish: The vanilla turns more into a burnt sugar mixed with the caramel.

Almost has a rye taste to start, finishes a very dry bready tho.

Sweet but not sickly sweet. Smooth but not watery. Strong enough for cocktails but still gentle enough for neat. I would highly recommend.
