Reviewed September 10, 2024 (edited September 20, 2024)A wonderful dram that i had on my visit to Uncle Nearest distillery, was this amazing single barrel expression. Nose: grain whiskey, vanilla, honeycomb, milka chocolate. Palate: milka chocolate; salty, grainy. Aftertaste: tobacco, dry, sugar, vanilla smores, sulphur. Overall, this magnificent Tennessee whiskey is one of the finest drams i had on my whiskey trip to Kentucky and Tennesse. Solid, enjoyable, sweet, salty and bitter. My score for it is 92 over 100. -

Reviewed April 13, 2024On the nose there is a spice that jumps out and burns my nose instantly. Once allowed to sit for a few minutes there is a strong note of vanilla. First sip burns a bit but opens up to a great offering. Ice offers up some subtlety but not much changed. -
