"The nose is neutral, showing only perhaps a bit of yeasty tang, if anything. The weight on the palate and initial flavors reveal a very light spirit. If not for the hint of caramel and sugar and the tangy sourdough finish, it would be easy to mistake this for a premium vodka. The finish is longer and more complex than expected, but overall this is an ideal rum for mixing."
