Van Brunt Stillhouse Due North Rum

A balanced, Dark Rum by the Van Brunt Stillhouse Distillery in Brooklyn, New York made with organic molasses, sourced from small family farms being laid to dry in the sun before being fermented, distilled & then aged for 4-5 months in new American Oak casks. It has a delicate birth with notes of sugar, hints of hazelnut & pecan; while a thick & dry life adds notes of wood, vanilla, caramel & hints of baking spices; that led to an elegant death of medium length.
