Very Old Barton 100 Proof Bourbon

Spicy rye, eucalyptus, mint, vanilla, caramel, fruit leather. Punches above it’s price point.

Can’t go wrong with this one, for the price point. Classic bourbon tastes, also with a hint of granny smith apples.

100 proof. 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley. Sweet corn, oak, char, caramel, cinnamon, chocolate cake with vanilla icing, apples.

Really nice bourbon for a great price. Not as great a deal as J W Dant but a nice fancy bottle.

This is the now discontinued 100 proof bib version. I had hoped this would compare favorably to the delicious 1792 bib, since they're supposedly the same juice, unfortunately it didn't measure up. This is a fine mixer but not really much of a sipper.
