Wow, hot. This is a mixer bourbon.

Inexpensive and good. For 100 proof the nose is soft caramel and vanilla. It has a bit of a bite but it’s an easy drinker. After letting it sit a few minutes a strong vanilla comes out. Finish is dry, sweet with a hint of mint.

The rye in this mash bill makes for a very hot sipper when neat. Stays hot, to the point it can overpower the flavors. Definitely not a sweet bourbon.
