Tasting Notes

"The nose showcases the barrels' circuitous route to this whiskey, with berries and herbaceousness, along with vanilla and oak. The palate is spicy, with cloves and nutmeg, menthol, and tannic oak, along with honey and a range of fruits, including apples and dried apricots. More traditional bourbon flavors of caramel and char come on as the whiskey opens up more. The fruity-sweet finish is moderate in length and balanced with black pepper and more spicy oak."
