Virginia Distillery Co. Courage & Conviction Sherry Cask is made from 100% malted barley and aged a minimum of three years.
Three types of former sherry casks are used for maturation: fino, oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez. The first batch for this release is expected to arrive in spring 2021 and is dedicated to one of the distillery's key mentors Nancy Fraley.

Tasting Notes
"The combination of three different types of sherry barrels allows this young single malt to punch above its weight. Though still a bit hot, it delivers rounded notes of chestnut, brown sugar, and vanilla, leading to a balanced finish with a malty sweetness."
