Tasting Notes

"Unfortunately the nose on this tequila reads a little reductive with earthy barrel flavors dominating the agave freshness. Some of the aromatics that do peak through have an odd floral character to them. What the barrel steals from the nose it gives to the palate which is rich and chewy and has an almost scotch-like meatiness. The telltale agave spice is released on the finish, but this tequila could have been a more interesting product with better barrel management."
