Weller 12 Year Bourbon

Dont really get the hype on this. Very light nose and a vanilla palette that is slightly sweet with maybe a bit of orange. I know this is just 90 proof and for me it tastes watered down. Very short finish but is an easy drinker.

Huh…did this one in a blind tasting / group share. Smelled ok, tasted good, not a ton of complexity. Lower proof, so about the same neat or with a cube. Nothing to dislike about it, just nothing super interesting going on. Way different than the Stagg i had recently and really enjoyed, this was just ok.

Nice smooth sweetness at start and top. Slight kick at the end, delightful bottle to sip on over the rocks or mix with splash of water.
