Weller Special Reserve Bourbon

For 40$, this is a steal. Nose and palate are similar. Caramel dipped apples with touch of spices. Mild with sweetness, so easy to drink. Also getting some butterscotch and corn. I’d buy this again anytime!

Sweet and smooth

Great for the price. A very solid bourbon.

Honey, green apples, burn on the end. Can feel the volatility of the wheat. If you swish it around in the mouth, the oaky, vanilla, and tannins come to the fore which is nice. Would I reach for this again and again? No, but it certainly is neat and I bet it’s good on the rocks.

Starts to heat up, then it becomes sweet/spicy with a subtle honey flavor
