The first thing that comes to mind is "Wow!" The taste is so unique, with mesquite upfront and then evolving into a heavy, robust notes of caramel, redwood and bacon. Absolutely delicious, and the perfect drink with burgers!
Three months of oxidation in the bottle has not been kind to this whiskey.
It’s now dominated by a pungent imitation wood smoke note on the nose and palate.
Would not buy again.

"This is the absolute worst whiskey I have ever tried. Twelve guys from my whiskey group did a blind tasting of 14 separate whiskies (including sone real duds) and this was a resounding dead last. We all agreed it was harsh and nasty, like drinking Hoppes 9 gun cleaner. Just bad."
