Wayne Gretzky No. 99 Red Cask Whisky

Raisins and tannic oak on the nose, brief sweetness on the palate turns to oaky woody tannins and dark red fruit. Leathery.

For the price better than expected but also uninspired if I'm being honest

Pretty good for a fairly cheap low proof whiskey. The wine barrel finish gives it an interesting twist. Got to admit, I had to have this bottle on my shelf. Looks so cool.

Nose: fruity, floral, rosehips, cherry Palate: honey, fruity, lingering burn, vanilla

Excellent description on the tasting notes of this one. Super sweet brown sugar, a powerful punch of sandalwood & a boozy burn, mixed with some subtle citrus notes.
