WhistlePig 13 Year Rye Single Barrel Select, 2019 Release (Barrel 2530) is an intense, Straight Rye Whiskey by the WhistlePig Distillery in Canada aged for 13 years through a double-barrel process then bottled at 59.4% abv. It has a rich birth with notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted almonds, plum, fig, allspice & warm apple crisp; while a bold life adds notes of apricot, clove, cinnamon sugar & oak; that led to a short & delicate death with hints of burnt sugar, toasted marshmallows, dried fruits & oak spice.
