Tasting Notes
"The conspicuous toasted oak on the nose rides in on waves of toffee and stewed plums. Those notes manifest on the palate in an orderly, tightly knit arrangement, a lovely balance of sweet, spicy and herbal flavors playing out on a silky tapestry. But it’s the peppery, spicy kick that dominates the finish, as if to remind you that it’s the rye’s world, the Madeira notes just live in it. "
