White Oak Akashi Shin

Not the biggest fan of the smell, quite an alcoholic note and quite a lingering burn

Delicate on the nose, brine and sandalwood, feels safe. Pallette is light, fresh oak (as it says on the label), pepper and ginger, all light. Feels somewhat cold in the mouth, alcohol almost flat? Verdict: Good for hot days as an oldfashioned, or on the rocks novices. nothing special.

Really light whisky. Not much of a smell. Starts with a little woodiness and light sweetness at the end.

Basic whiskey better chilled and opened.

Very smooth

Smooth to start out and gets pretty strong alcohol flavor. Very young tasting, not charred barrel
