Wiggly Bridge Dry Gin
Modern Gin
Wiggly Bridge // Maine, USA
A father and son team obsessed with whiskey have brought craft distillation to Maine’s southeast corner.
While whiskey rests in barrel what better thing to make than gin? Perhaps the most notable element at Wiggly Bridge is the antique-looking, handmade pot-still that was truly hand-riveted and is a stark contrast to the high-tech column/pot hybrids seen at most new distilleries.

Modern GinAlso has been referred to as "Contemporary", "New Western", "New Wave", and "New American". This style is not legally defined. In general, this category of gin, while it does contain juniper, places less of an emphasis on this botanical. Other botanicals not classically used in London Dry gins are often utilized and often highlight botanicals grown in the region the gin is produced. Most produced as either London Dry or Distilled Gins.

Tasting Notes
"At first whiff, it is apparent that this gin came from a producer focused on making whiskey. The grain flavors are rich and bold and almost overwhelm the subtle juniper and citrus tones. The body is full and weighty, but unfortunately not very botanical until the somewhat spicy citrus oil finish. An unconventional gin that has its charms but may not appeal to hardcore juniper heads. "
