Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon

Easy drinking high proof bourbon. Caramel vibe with a very smooth finish

The nose is corn and cherry, but not particularly sweet, although you can find vanilla if you hunt hard enough. The taste is A LOT of corn. Not that sweet. What sweetness is there is just splashes of cherry. More syrupy than the nose indicates. Feels like a Bourbon trying to be the most Bourbony.

One of my favorites, at its price point,(50 bucks), can’t find many others to compete with it . Good , easy , steady bourbon with a lot of flavor and just the right burn at the finish .

Cinnamon, toasted caramel, crème brûlée, mint, oak, clove, orange and tea nose. Rich and potent on the palate, with flavors of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, dark chocolate, orange, maple syrup and black pepper. Easy drinking despite the proof, and full of flavor. Finishes with a bit of heat and black pepper.
