Willett 8 Year Wheated Bourbon

Sample from MN whiskey tasting #1. This is good not great. I bought a bottle.

Sweet lavender and caramel nose with a grape, caramel and sweet vanilla taste. Medium toasted grape and caramel barrel finish.

Sweet and malty on the nose with no ethanol, the wheat jumps out of the glass. The palate is smooth and balanced, the sweet wheat punches through. The finish is long with a perfect amount of spice. I really enjoyed this.
