Willett Family Estate Bottled 3 Year Straight Rye

Lots of dill both on the nose and palate.

Almost didn’t purchase this because I had seen the ratings on the 5 year and just thought the 3 year would be too young. Wrong! Love this juice. It’s a must buy if you see it retail.

The nose has a nice balance of vanilla and rye spices with slight hints of butterscotch, mint and oak. The palate is dry with strong rye spices, burnt sugar, all backed up with vanilla and mint. The finish is long and lingers with mint, baking spices, vanilla and oak.

It has gotten a lot better since cracking. I quite like it now.
