Willett Family Estate Small Batch Rye 4 Year

Sweet fig with big caraway rye overtones. Apricot up front. Big rye punch on the front of the palette. Real long tasting journey with lots on complexity finishing fig and raisin. Finish is one of the longest I’ve had. Too punchy and unique to be a regular drinker. But a fantastic example of ryes can be.

The nose is very rye and a little hot but at first sip, it's fruity and not too much oak. Some nice spicy and herbal notes. Worth the search o find it

Tons of mint and barnyard hay. Slight touch of honey, bubblegum and dark fruits on the finish. Insanely complex for the price point. For $60-70 price range, this is a must have.
