William Larue Weller Bourbon (Fall 2022)

Nose Dark cherry leather molasses just beautifully balanced. Taste rich cherry Carmel/butterscotch viscous Finish warming oak cinnamon Coco cherry.

Nose: sweet nose right off the bat, toffee or caramel followed by classic BT wheat recipe notes. Leathery on the back side. Palate: Briny, sweet fruit, oak, followed by spice. Overall: incredible. If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to try this, don’t miss it.

Much like EH Taylor Full Proof, the higher proof is barely noticeable because of how smooth and flavorful it is. Lacking some depth and characteristics of age compared to Pappy 15, 20, or 23.

So smooth, super sweet wheat but not too sweet. Just hits you with the wheat smoothness in all the right places. I have a feeling this will show up vs all the pappys. Best wheat i have had I believe.
