Reviewed March 14, 2024Nose is a funky leather smoke. Pallet hot sharp smokey oak. Seems like high char on the barrel. A little ice tames it down and smooths it a bit. Still trying to like this bottle. Has good basics but need more tasting to decide if this makes the cut for me. Not a top shelf keeper yet. Stay tuned....39.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed December 20, 2023This is not a bad bottle at all. I think plenty of people would appreciate the flavor profile, but it isn't for me personally. Maple syrup, pecan, and spice on the nose It's a dark flavor profile. Dark caramel. Oak. Apple. More of that pecan note and heavy spice. It's not what Im looking for in a pour. To me, there's something missing. But I appreciate it nonetheless. It finishes on coffee bean. More spice. Burnt oak. Lingers for some time and coats the mouth well, which I would haven't guessed. As it looked on the thinner side in my glass. It's a bit too nutty for my liking. It's a prevalent flavor in the bottle. If it sounds like something you might like, then I'd suggest it... It's 43$, and for the proof you're getting, it isn't a bad deal.
