Wolves The Malted Barley Series Lot One

Rich, deep, malty nose with a bright cracking woody perfume. On the palate, first impressions are of aged apples, oak fence, forest floor and venerable grain barn. A sip takes the imbiber into a peaceful and rustic country setting. As the flavor progresses, warm notes of baking spices come out, with soft toffee, cinnamon bun, toasted pecan and chicory. A smooth, even mouthfeel leads to a medium-long finish. The ending notes are dry and slightly spiced.
