Woodford Reserve Bourbon

Nose- cherry syrup, malt, banana bread, fair hit of acetone for 90 proof Taste- pretty mellow and approachable. Light caramels, sour fruits, and decent oak influence. Vanilla sweetness on the back end Finish- light and bitter. some spice finally showing up, more oak influence

Good old Woodford Reserve, nothing particularly special about it yet, nothing wrong either. It’s decently rich, with a little edge to it but, manageable. The ABV ranges between 43.2% - 45.2% so, keep an eye on the label if you like the higher proof.

Sometimes too spicy but sometimes enjoyable. Good but not great I should say.
