Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

This is excellent whiskey. The nose is incredibly sweet and smacks of caramel and toffee. The entry brings more of the same - warm brown sugar, tons of caramel, toffee, and candy corn. The finish is long and wonderful, sweet caramel lingering for days.

Very smooth, lots of caramel, vanilla, and a nice oak flavor that isn't overbearing like in Knob Creek, but is still very much present. Like an Elmer T. Lee but with less butter popcorn flavor and more complexity. Similar mouthfeel. One of my favorites.
