Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Very Fine Rare Bourbon

Smokey leathery cinnamon cherry nose. Peppery spices, rich salted caramely oak. Quite complex, melts on the tongue toward a dry finish.

My first pour of this one. Nose is very nice. Smoke and oak on the initial taste but I definitely got some sweeter notes on the finish. Reminds me of my first taste of EC18 right after opening. Hopefully this one settles in to be as good. There’s definitely some promise here.

for me, no richness or savory notes. thin & acidic. very little to enjoy. this seems to be a polarizing release, either you’re built for it or you’re not
